Work on your road
Our contractor will be repairing cracks, potholes and other road damage. Once the repairs have had time to settle, we will come back to apply the final surfacing layer over the whole area. It may be up to 12 months before you see us back to finish the job, and we'll be in touch again before we do.
What you need to know
- Traffic management (Full Road Closure), will be used to manage access through the work area.
- Limited access to your property or workplace will be maintained throughout the works where possible. Footpaths within active work zones will be closed while kerb and channel renewal works are underway.
- Please observe all "No Parking" signage, which will be installed before work begins. Any vehicles left within the work area may be relocated to a nearby location outside the construction zone.
- If you have any specific access requirements, e.g. medical appointments, home help, large vehicle deliveries, or planned works at your property, please notify the contractor in advance.
- Please be aware that residue from newly laid asphalt or chipseal surfaces can stick to footwear and vehicle tyres. Take care when entering your home, garage, or other paved areas.
- Construction activities may generate some noise and vibration from time to time. The contractor will make every effort to minimise any disruption.
- In the event of unsuitable weather conditions, the work will be postponed and rescheduled.
We know roadworks can be disruptive, and we’re grateful for your cooperation and understanding.
