The Christchurch City Council proposes to revoke the Local Purpose (Road) Reserve at 31 Leander Street, Papanui, Christchurch.
31 Leander Street - Reserve Revocation
The Christchurch City Council pursuant to Section 24 of the Reserves Act 1977, proposes to revoke the Local Purpose (Road) Reserve at 31 Leander Street, Papanui, Christchurch. The affected area is approximately 158m2 and is described as Section 1 SO 628555. It is not required for road.
It is planned to transfer the land to the adjoining owner, for its inclusion in the residential development being undertaken.
The balance of the Local Purpose (Road) Reserve, being Sections 2 and 3 SO 628555, is required for road and will be dedicated as legal road under Section 111 of the Reserves Act 1977.
Any persons who wish to object to the proposed revocation of Section 1 SO 628555 must do so in writing by 5pm on Monday, 5 October 2026 to the address shown below.
