Health licensing

Hairdressers and barbers, campgrounds and funeral parlours are required to be licensed with the Council.

Temporary road closures

Residential or small heated pools

All in-ground residential pools must have compliant pool barriers to keep young children safe. This includes small heated pools.

A license from Psychoactive Substances Regulatory Authority (PSRA) must be held in order to sell approved products.

Easter Sunday trading hours

Rules about trading on Easter Sunday are set by law under the Shop Trading Hours Act 1990.

Offensive trades

The Government has agreed to remove the list of offensive trades from the Health Act 1956, eliminating registration requirements for businesses.
