Greenwood Park Track is a spectacular ride that offers dramatic views of the Southern Alps, Kaikoura ranges and coastal cliffs.
Track classification: Grade 4, advanced. Steep, narrow, poor traction, and difficult to avoid obstacles. Exposed on the outside edge.
Start: 200m from the top of Mt Pleasant Road.
Finish: Godley Head Road.
Signage: Posted at each end.
Description: There are short technical sections that make this a more challenging ride. Start at the track approximately 200m from the top of Mt Pleasant Road. There is a small car park at the top of Mt Pleasant Road.
The start on a single track that has some technical rocky sections. Descend gradually onto Evans Pass. Join the Godley Head track on the other side of Evans Pass on Godley Head Road.
