This is the first stage of a two-stage process to repair and resurface your road. In the first stage, our contractor will be repairing cracks potholes, kerb and channel, service cover adjustments and other defects. We’ll come back to apply the final surfacing at a later date, once the repairs have had time to settle. |

Details
Work on your road
Our contractor will be repairing cracks, potholes and other road damage. Once the repairs have had time to settle, we’ll come back to apply the final surfacing layer over the whole area. It may be up to 12 months before you see us back to finish the job, and we’ll be in touch again before we do.
What you need to know
- Traffic management (One Way System) will be used to manage access through the work area. A reduced speed limit of 30 km/h will be in place.
- You will still have limited access to your property or workplace during the work period. Footpath will also be closed within working areas where kerb and channel renewals works are being carried out.
- Please take notice of the 'No parking' signs, which will be put out in advance of the work. If your vehicle remains in the work area it may be towed to a nearby location outside the work site.
- Please let the contractor know if you have any specific requirements for property access, such as for medical visits, home help, large vehicle deliveries or other planned work on your property.
- Residue from new surfaces like asphalt and chipseal can stick to your shoes or car tyres – please be mindful of this when entering your garage or home.
- The work may cause noise and vibrations at times – our contractor will keep this to a minimum.
- Work will be rescheduled if the weather is not suitable.

Noise
There may be increased noise, dust and vibrations during work but it shouldn’t impact on your power, water, gas or phone services.

Bins
Please put your bins out as usual before 6am on your collection day. Our crew will move and return them if needed.
