Work on your road

We are repairing damaged areas of the road surface from 86 Breens Road to the intersection of Veronica Place and extending 50m down Veronica Place entrance. The works will involve removing the damaged road surface and kerb and channel before pouring new kerb and resurfacing and line marking. We will be working one day to minimise the disruption to businesses and residents.

What you need to know

  • On-street parking may be impacted – please take notice of ‘No parking’ signs, which may be put out in advance of the work.
  • Access to your property will be available at all times, although there may be short delays. Please let the contractor know if you have any specific requirements for property access, such as for medical visits, home help, large vehicle deliveries or other planned work on your property.
  • Footpath access will remain open.
  • Asphalt contains hot bitumen. Always keep a safe distance from paving operations and never approach hot materials.
  • The work may cause noise and vibrations at times – our contractor will keep this to a minimum.
  • Work will be rescheduled if the weather is not suitable.
  • Line marking is generally completed within 24 hours but could be delayed due to bad weather. Please take care when approaching intersections as limit lines may not have been reinstated yet.

We know roadworks can be disruptive, and we’re grateful for your cooperation and understanding.
