Types of wastewater systems
Council uses three types of wastewater system to transport wastewater from connected properties to the treatment plant.
Wastewater lateral repairs
Private laterals. whether gravity, pressure sewer or vacuum, require periodic maintenance or repair.
Pipe ownership and responsibility
The responsibility for maintaining and repairing wastewater pipes that carry wastewater from the house or business to the council main is shared between the homeowner and the Council.
