The following concessions apply to vehicles displaying a mobility permit when parking in Christchurch City. Please refer to the CCS Disability Action brochure issued by CCS Disability Action(external link) for more information on concessions.
Metered parking areas
- Providing initial payment is made, vehicles are permitted to park at a P60 metered area for an additional 60 minutes to the time paid for, up to a maximum of 120 minutes.
- There are no concessions in a P120 metered area.
Time-restricted parking areas
- In the P30 and P60 time-restricted parking areas, vehicles are permitted to park for double the designated time limit.
- This does not apply to any other time-restricted areas.
- There are no concessions for parking in time-restricted areas of less than 30 minutes.
Mobility parking areas
Concessions do not apply in designated time-restricted mobility parking areas.
