Residents' parking

Council’s policy on residents’ parking permits.

We are not issuing any new resident-only parking permits. However, we will continue to honour existing residents' parking space permits issued under the previous policy.

We do not operate a permit scheme for residents to be exempt from parking restrictions.

If you are an existing resident-only parking permit holder, you will be sent a letter before renewing your permit, towards the end of June of each year. Details on how to obtain this permit are in the letter.

The permit cost and annual renewal fee is $113 for the 2026-2027 year (non-transferable and non-refundable).  No new resident-only permits are being issued.

Resident exemption parking permits for parking restrictions are not being issued at this time.

Parking restrictions apply to all vehicles.

To report a non-authorised vehicle parked in a resident's parking area, please contact us on 03 941 8999.
